Support Act (the music industry’s charity) has published the findings of its first ever Mental Health and Wellbeing in Music and Live Performing Arts survey. These were unveiled at the Head First conference discussing mental health and wellbeing for the music industry held on 25 May.

Some 1,300 industry people took part in the survey and the results provide a stark wake up call to the state of mental health in all areas of the music industry. They highlight an urgent need to support the mental health and wellbeing of everyone in our industry through psychological services, as well as evidence-based prevention, education and training programs.
