Our usual annual and previously this weeks scheduled studio guests (prior to covid 19), The Bush Music Club, based in Sydney, was established in 1954 and is the oldest folk club in Australia and, arguably, one of the oldest folk clubs in the world. It has been actively promoting Australian folk traditions for over 60 years. They have regular bush dances and workshops, music workshops, singing sessions, juniors saplings’ group, performances, annual retreat and poetry sessions, however currently suspended due to Covid-19. New members are always welcome – a great way to meet people and make friends. Membership forms downloaded from their web site.
