The Beez:
Once Berliners, now Australian residents, Deta C. Rayner (accordion, keyboard, vocals) and Rob
Rayner (guitar, vocals) present a bitingly satirical but eminently danceable wealth of genre
bending original material from the sublime to the ridiculous, with Deta’s bass baritone accordion
and vamp-flavoured vocals front and centre. Road tested on three recent European tours, The
Beez will finally be bringing their new album, “Fahrradkette” (bicycle chain!?), to Australia, a
dizzying pastiche of comedy and music. The Beez in one word? “Prost!”
