2025 Illawarra Folk Festival Performer Applications Are Open!

Illawarra Folk Club presents the 38th ILLAWARRA FOLK FESTIVAL
Friday, January 17 – Sunday, January 19, 2024.
Artist applications are open and will close 20 May 2024.
The annual Illawarra Folk Festival is held over three days. The 2025 festival will feature 7 venues with 90 acts.The festival will include the sounds of folk, indie, world, roots, bluegrass, Balkan and Celtic music, as well as poetry, comedy and dance.
You can camp onsite or stay in top quality accommodation nearby. There is plenty of onsite carparking and Bulli train station is a short walk away.
The festival commences on Friday afternoon, 4pm, and concludes on Sunday evening with a finale with special guests.
Fringe events include Folk Music School (17 January 2024).
The festival was established in 1985 by the Illawarra Folk Club – which will make it 40 years of presenting! A mighty feat in these times.
