The Water Runners at The Loaded Dog Folk Club

Take one part bluegrass, one part folk and a dash of country. Mix in great story-telling, catchy tunes, tight harmonies, strong musicianship and an engaging stage show and you have- The Water Runners!  They sing of human stories and journey down South Coast backroads. Awarded Best Band in the 2020 National Australian Busking Championships, selected to perform in Folk Unlocked 2021 and finalists in the 2021 Australian Folk Music People’s Choice award, they have a solid reputation as performers and songwriters. Their 2021 album ‘Further Down the Road’ was produced by the award-winning Matt Fell. Come along for the ride.
