The Times They Are A-Changin’ live at Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Folk Club

15 September 2023 @ 7:00pm - 10:00 pm
$20 / $18 Folk Fed Members, Kids under 16 free
HKFC’s next concert night features Maurie Mulheron, Pat Craigie & Friends, bringing to life material from folk artists such as Leadbelly, Pete Seeger, Woody Guthrie and Bob Dylan plus original acoustic folk and blues compositions, followed by a special show re-imagining the songs from Dylan’s third album: ‘The Times They Are A-Changin’.
Maurie Mulheron and Pat Craigie are two of the finest exponents of folk/ blues music in Australia. Maurie wrote and directed the hit folk/theatre production ‘One Word..We! Pete Seeger & Friends’ and Pat founded of the band ‘The Strangest Dreamers’. Their ‘Times They Are A-Changin’ show captures the spirit of the social and political upheaval characterising the 1960’s, with reflections on our present political landscape “where the lies are bigger and we know they’re lying, but it’s still hard to know who to trust.”
This will be a night not to be missed! Book tickets via our website link: https://hkfolkclub.au/coming-up/
