The Good Behaviours, an exciting new Chamber-Folk quintet, launch their debut album ‘Home’ at The Gaelic Club, in a double-bill with popular Sydney Celtic band, Kejafi.
The Good Behaviours consist of band-leader/composer, Nick Henderson (clawhammer banjo), Chris Stone (fiddle) and Holly Downes (double bass) from The String Contingent, Emily-Rose Sarkova (accordion) from Chaika, & Felix Lalanne (guitar), finalist of the Montreux Jazz guitar competition.
Past performances include the River Folk Festival and supporting Natalie and Brittany Haas on their recent Australian tour.
Kejafi, inspired by the music, dance and piping from the Scottish Highlands and Islands, play traditional and original Celtic tunes and songs, delighting audiences with their own take on traditional Scottish music. They consist of Fiona McVicar (fiddle & vocals), James Gastineau-Hills (fiddle, viola), & Ken O’Neill (guitar, octave mandolin, bouzouki). For this show they’ll be joined by Elsen Price (double-bass).
