Sutherland Acoustic Club Concert Night – November 13th – Traditional Graffitti

November 13 2025 @ 7:30pm
Tickets at the Door, $20 cash, no need to book
Our concert night on Thursday 13 November will feature Traditional Graffiti.  Not merely a band, Traditional Graffiti is an idea; a collective of musicians celebrating specifically British Folk music, at its best. The core of the band, now resident in Australia, grew up in the UK, immersed in their local folk traditions; at home; at school; on the radio; or at community events. And later, experiencing the1960’s/70’s folk revival first – hand at folk clubs, concerts and festivals; or in small groups of like minds sharing and writing songs. Some of the band have over 40 years’ experience teaching and performing English traditional dance. You can find out more about them at https://traditionalgraffiti.com.
You may remember these fine gentlemen as the Wheeze and Such Band, as it has the same elements and traditional songs as under that name. They were great favorite of the Sutherland Folk Club in the past.
Come and enjoy the music. Music starts at 7:30 pm with Traditional Graffiti coming on at 8 pm. Venue at Tradies Gymea, corner of Manchester Road and the Kingsway Gymea. Entrance $20 cash at the door. No need to book.
Also please look at the attachment about a Very Special Event! On Saturday the 15th of November at 7:30pm – yes, two days after our club concert, Jan Preston will be presenting a silent movie called Kid Stakes. She will be accompanying the movie with piano, as they did in the old days for silent movies, to add to the action and atmosphere. This will be a special Fundraiser for our club so that we can host all the acts we would love to have in the future. This is also $20 cash at the door and no need to book.
See you there, I hope!
