IN REAL LIFE… that’s what we are after, real connection, live music, sharing the same space, touring the music and the stories that have grown out of the past few years.   On Friday May 20, an intimate night of quality music will be held in the Perennialle Plants building, 7:30-10pm.  Numbers are strictly limited by the venue’s size, so please pre-purchase early to avoid disappointment.  The timing of the event follows on from the free markets at The Palms, just nearby, so if you want dinner and show, head there beforehand!

Craig Sinclair combines timeless folk story-telling with a lyrical fingerstyle acoustic and slide guitar style, to craft a mesmerising and uniquely Australian blues sound. Recently relocated to Sydney from the south coast of WA, Craig’s solo shows draw on a rich musical canvas ranging from whimsical ragtime country blues to evocative open-tuned textures.

The songs of Australian contemporary folk storyteller, Snez, have a way of settling into your heart and making a home, subtly weaving their magic into your soul. “Like all the best songwriters, Snez is a sharp observer of the seemingly simple, yet subtly unique characters that pass through all our lives. Joyful, defiant and vulnerable by turns” (Michael Smith, Rhythms Magazine)
