Patrick Burgess is a professional singer songwriter who also works as a human rights lawyer. Inspired by the people he meets in and around the world’s conflict zones, he writes songs of heart felt emotion, songs of celebration and the joys in drinking coffee, or going surfing, and even wild nights with taxi drivers from Jakarta.
Patrick records and performs these songs with one of Australia’s foremost multi-instrumentalists’ “DC” (Paul Di Giacomo) who has toured and recorded with many iconic Aussie bands including Ghostwriters, Tamam Shud, Matt Finish and a host of other Aussie artists.
The evening will include stories and songs from Patrick Burgess current album and his new album due for release early 2024. Patrick will be supported on the night by the duos Shaky Fate and Bombora.
