Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Folk Club’s monthly concert night for August will feature Sydney-based artist Rachel Collis. Rachel has been described by reviewers as no less than “prodigy”, “sheer genius” (Australian Stage) and “a welcome jolt back to the time of Joni Mitchell and Carole King” (The Orange Press). Rachel combines good old-fashioned songwriting with whirlwind virtuosic piano and Celtic–like vocals and will be joined by Michael Galeazzi on double bass for the night.
