Marcus McLennan
Marcus has musical roots in the Rock, Blues and Folk genres. He is a regular on the N.S.W folk festival scene either on stage or playing some folk standards around a campfire. Most of the songs he plays in acoustic sets hail from Ireland’s emerald green isle or our very home grown Australiana. There will be some songs you know and some you do not. Some old, some new (not that new). Songs about love lost in a small village in Galway or a ballad about a poor farmer suffering from a harsh drought in the Australian outback. If you like songs by The Dubliners, Christy Moore, John Williamson or Redgum make sure you check him out.
Martin Doherty Folk Singer
My name is Martin Doherty and I have been a folk singer most of my life. I love an audience who listen and enjoy the music. I was a member of Raglan Road Folk band back in the eighties. This is first time in two years I have performed a solo show. I am really looking forward to presenting my work at the Macquarie Towns Music Club. All the best to us all, Martin.
