Macquarie Towns Music Club is proud to announce that it will be celebrating fifty years as a music club with a special Anniversary Concert on Sunday 12th October. The concert will be held from 2pm -5pm at the Wilberforce School of Arts, 531 Wilberforce Road, Wilberforce and will feature performances from our current members. The admission charge is only $10. On display at the hall, will be some of the history of the club, as well as some merchandise available for purchase.
At intermission there will be a short formal acknowledgement of the occasion by our President, James Norton, as well as cutting and sharing of our celebratory Anniversary cake. This will be followed by a delicious supper which has been catered for, so there is no need to bring a plate.
Hawkesbury Council has advised that we are unable to park on site at the School of Arts. However, there is some street parking as well as a parking lot on the corner of King Street and Wilberforce Road.
Please find attached the concert flyer which contains a QR code which enables you to register your attendance at the concert. This will help us for catering purposes. Note all payment is at the door on the day of the concert.
So get excited about this 50th Anniversary Concert. Invite your family and friends to come along and share the flyer with them. It promises to be a wonderful afternoon of music and friendship with the sharing of memories from members old and new.
