Sydney Heritage Fleet is reviving the very popular James Craig Music Group that will host maritime music nights on board the James Craig.
To launch the inaugural first night we have James Craig’s friends Shanty Group 40 Degrees South leading the Club and Special Guest Lynn Noel – check her recorded output: https://crosscurrentsmusic.bandcamp.com
Vivacious, charismatic, and energetic, Lynn Noel knows the story behind the song and makes you a part of it. Her clear, powerful voice is equally at home in rhythmic sea chanteys and lyrical ballads, and her repertoire extends to over fifteen languages.
Lynn plays various instruments, but her favourite instrument is the audience. She has a winning stage presence, an encyclopedic knowledge of her material, a huge sense of fun, and a joy in singing that shines through every song.
40 Degrees South will also be singing and there will be an opportunity for others to contribute.
Free for members and their guests. (places limited)
