$15 - $20

Love, Magic and Green Tea is a heartwarming mother-daughter song cycle, featuring Karen and Hazel Law and supported by Murray, Roanna and David Law.  Finalist for 2025 Solo Artist of the Year, Karen Law is an old name in folk and has passed on the storytelling tradition to her children. Karen is a songwriter, meditator, mother, tea-drinker and optimist who has been writing songs for over 30 years.

Inspired by her mum, Hazel wrote her first song at 10-years-old, and she and Roanna now frequent folk venues as their duo ‘North and Elsewhere’. The sisters were finalists for 2025 Youth Artist of the Year in the Australian Folk Music Awards and will release their debut album in 2026.

This is a rare opportunity to see all five members of this family on stage together. Weaving stories of childhood, travel and connection, this is a show that will uplift, inspire and pay homage to the magic of a cup of tea.
