Coral Snakes Legends and prolific alt artists Dave Graney & Clare Moore Unveil New Album ‘Laburnum Of The Mind’
Contains the single – HITS ARE THE WORST.

Its a rock album with grooves, upbeat tempos, drums, guitars and bass and vocals. So when they’ll be doing gigs – making show – they’ll be playing as a band. Dave Graney and the mistLY. A group with an engine room and a powder room.

Playing songs from Laburnum Of The Mind as well as songs from across the 40 something albums Dave Graney and Clare Moore have been involved in writing, playing and producing.

Dave Graney and the mistLY is Dave Graney on guitar and vocals, Clare Moore on drums and vocals Stu Thomas on bass and vocals (since 2004) and Stuart Perera on guitar and vocals (since 1998).

They’re from Melbourne but they’re not like those other Melbourne bands and they’re a rock band but not like those other rock bands. Remember, keep your head down and yourself tidy!

Songwriter and performer Dave Graney and multi-instrumentalist Clare Moore were in the Moodists from 1978 to 1986. Then the White Buffaloes/Coral Snakes 1987-1997. Then the Royal Dave Graney Show and Lurid Yellow Mist to the mistLY. They have also been involved in several feature film soundtracks and Dave Graney released his fourth book, a book of lyrics called THERE HE GOES WITH HIS EYE OUT (collected lyrics 1980-2023).
Dave Graney was awarded ‘Best Male Vocalist’ at the ARIA Music Awards of 1996 for his work on The Soft ‘n’ Sexy Sound, while “Feelin’ Kinda Sporty” won ‘Best Video’ in 1997 and he has received seven other ARIA Award nominations. Clare Moore won the Lifetime Achievement award at the 2023 Australian Women In Music Awards with Jeanie Lewis and Kate Ceberano.

Dave and Clare will be performing as a trio with Stu Thomas on bass.
