I’m delighted to announce that The Loaded Dog Folk Club is back home again at the Annandale Neighbourhood Centre on Saturday 11th December. Doors open 7pm for 7.30 start with a few floor spots, then 30 mins from each act before and after the mid-evening break.
Guests for the night are Miguel Heatwole and Christina Mimmocchi – both of whom are choir leaders and instigators of many amazing musical collaborations.
Miguel + Dallas are MaD aDaM – Avid festival-goers, folk-clubbers, session singers, blackboardists and buskers Miguel Heatwole and Dallas de Brabander, as MaD aDaM, have crafted a strong and varied repertoire of traditional and modern folk duets and original songs with a twist, both a cappella and accompanied.
Miguel + Anthony are Song brother, an affectionate term they used during 25 years together in the vocal trio Triantan.
Christina + Gemma + Clarita are The Third Voice – Three strong female voices and a loop pedal, mainly unaccompanied, that weave, blend, caterwaul and serenade with new and pre-loved songs that will both challenge and soothe. They have followed various musical paths including songwriting, a cappella singing, fronting bands and confronting diverse musical settings. They share a love of voices in harmony and music for the body as well as the mind.
Christina + Margaret are PerSisters Both carriers of the folk tradition flame, with a passion for connecting people through communal singing, and a commitment to social justice and the environment.
Inner West Council – in line with NSW Public Health Guidelines customers will be required to sign in with QR code or provide your name & phone number at the door, along with proof of double vaccination … Masks are required indoors.
