One hour each from
Coolfinn Mac – Australian / Irish / Celtic / Fusion – Music for the discerning ear. Coolfinn Mac is a trio performing Celtic and Australian inspired songs and tunes along with covers from their favourite folk singer-songwriters. The trio features Pam Merrigan – guitar/whistles/vocals, James Palethorpe – fiddle and Chris Merrigan – guitar and acoustic bass guitar.
The Third Voice – Three strong female voices, mainly unaccompanied, that weave, blend, caterwaul and serenade with new and pre-loved songs that will both challenge and soothe. Gemma Turner, Clarita Derwent and Christina Mimmocchi have followed various musical paths including songwriting, a cappella singing, fronting bands and choirs and confronting diverse musical settings. They share a love of voices in harmony and music for the body as well as the mind. All previous members of the world renowned A Cappella group Blindman’s Holiday, the trio has recently been conducting workshops on Afro-Cuban songs and will very likely include the audience at The Dog in singing them.
