Cobargo Folk Festival is held at the beautiful Cobargo Showground in the hinterland of the Far South Coast of New South Wales. Beginning 27 years ago as a street festival in the historic main street of Cobargo, the festival has grown into a joyful three-day celebration of folk and roots music, song, dance, craft and more.
Proudly produced and presented by the Yuin Folk Club Inc since 1996, the Cobargo Folk Festival is wholly volunteer-run, independent and non-commercial. Any profits we make go to helping grow music and art in our beautiful coastal region, which is still recovering from the devastating fires of 2019/2020. Volunteer-run folk festivals can only thrive with strong support from folk music lovers. We are deeply grateful to the many folk community volunteers who make this festival happen, and to every folk music lover who buys a ticket. As a festival that is almost totally reliant on ticket revenue with very little by way of government grants, strong ticket sales are critical.
