After establishing our inaugural event on Australia’s FolkFest calendar last year, we are excited to bring you the second Bundanoon Folk Festival in NSW’s stunning Southern Highlands this weekend, 22nd-24th November. We’ve been super busy behind the scenes preparing another impressive three day event, which caters for a wide variety of tastes in music and performance – you won’t want to miss this year’s lineup!
The Festival has 7 beautiful indoor venues plus a large marquee all within walking distance, set within the town area of the beautiful and friendly Bundanoon village. Camping is available at the Bundanoon camp ground and two festival buses will be available to ferry passengers from the campground and between all venues.
From the traditional to the contemporary, the festival is a chance to immerse yourself in electric performances by extraordinary artists, including recent AFMA shortlisted/winning artists such as Apolline, Austral, Great Aunt, Corn Nut Creek, Alanna & Alicia and ongoing crowd favourite the Spooky Men’s Chorale. Concerts on Saturday evening will showcase young and emerging folk artists. Saturday night now also includes a food fair at the Gang Gang Cafe at the school, then dance the night away at the Folk Rave followed by the very secret, very special Secret Sing… With workshops, pub sessions, tunes & singing sessions, a free Kidsfest Program, poetry and of course the colourful and joyous Morris Dancers there is something for everybody.
Come with a group of friends, your partner, bring the kids, or go solo – You’re sure to find something special that will make your soul sing and heart soar. See the full list of fabulous artists and activities and book your festival tickets at bundanoonfolkfestival.com.au
