Blue Mallee is an elaborate Australian duo act with a sound as rich as any band. From alternative Indie-Folk stylings and moody Blues to atmospheric Eastern Rock and heralding catchy anthems, Blue Mallee distributes an impressive array of original songs and stories to match.
Singer/songwriter Evan takes you on a journey with his guitar, stompbox, pedalboard and harmonica, and his partner in crime Niev brings her voice, keys and bodhran to the mix.
This duo is pushing the boundaries of contemporary Indie Folk music with traditional influences. After receiving a music grant in 2019, Blue Mallee released their debut EP ‘Shout That Whisper’.
