Mike Martin

Mike Martin (Voice, Anglo Concertina and Resonator Tenor Guitar) has traveled the world as a musician, singer/songwriter and his songs reflect the tales, stories and experiences gained from his travels. Mike's passion for traditional Australian bush music, its' roots and history is well recognised and he is a respected collector of Australian traditional dance music which he has spent many years recording, preserving, promoting and performing. Mike is well known in south-eastern NSW as the driving force behind the Kameruka Bush Orchestra. In a departure from Mike Martin, bush and folk music historian Mike is also the inspiration for The Strelley Project, a finely crafted set of Mike's original songs performed by a bunch of consummate musicians in styles as diverse as pop, Celtic, jazz, folk, skiffle and a few places in between.
