Felicity Dowd

“A nomadic troubadour and storyteller spinning tales and melodies across the country…” Felicity Dowd is one of Australia’s most promising up-and-coming singer-songwriter musicians. Already highly recognised - Folk Alliance Australia's Youth Artist of the Year (2023), Toyota Starmaker Grand Finalist (2024), National Folk Festival's Gill Rees Memorial Award (2023) and FolkFedNSW's Young Artist of the Year (2020) - Felicity's music is diverse, inspired by an eclectic and ever-changing landscape of genres, seamlessly drifting between the boundaries of Folk and Country. Felicity believes a song is only as good as its story and hers are full of depth, heart and humour, intertwining the experiences of the world around her. In 2023 she was named Tamworth Country Music Festival's New Songwriter of the Year. Felicity has just been named FolkFedNSW's Youth Ambassador 2024-25.
