Two Voices in the Crowd brings together the musical partnership of Kathy and Matthew Clarke in a warmly engaging folk performance shaped by close harmonies, gentle acoustic textures and a deep love of story.
Formerly known as Sweet Songs & Soft Guitar, the Newcastle-based duo performs with vocals, guitar, mandolin, Irish whistles and harmonica.
“Two Voices in the Crowd” performed by Sweet Songs & Soft Guitar are songs of the Australian folk icons, Judy Small & Eric Bogle. These songs reflect the issues of a generation, and cover a wide range of subjects including women’s rights, social equity, and environmental activism as well as promoting freedom from hatred, war and oppression.
