Because of the Federal election in May and the closure of the Annandale Community Centre for renovations, we’re getting together on a different date and in a different location.
The next Sydney Bluegrass & Old-Time Music Get-together will be on SATURDAY 26 APRIL 2025 at the ADDISON RD COMMUNITY CENTRE, 142 ADDISON RD in HUT 44 (Tritton Hall) in the Centre.
Parking is available in the main car park or near Hut 44. There is a ramp for entry to Hut 44.
Doors will be open from 6pm for people to learn and rehearse a couple of songs in SAFETY IN NUMBERS – beginners welcome – and perform them at the start of the concert.
The ‘HOUSE CONCERT’ starts at 7.30pm: all acoustic (no PA) bluegrass, old-time and traditional country music.
Jamming all night. All welcome.
Entry by donation; Under 18 & 80+ Free.
Tea, coffee, soft drinks, snacks available (no charge). Unfortunately, there is no kitchen so there won’t be any hot food. There is an Egyptian restaurant on site (open til 9pm) and shops are nearby in Addison Rd.
