The Spirit of the Land Festival is a colourful and vibrant celebration of the land. With Artistic sculptures, fine arts and photography, lively markets, boutique stalls, fabulous foods, vivid open gardens, amazing entertainment, stylish vintage vehicles, the festival is a fantastic experience for friends and family to enjoy.
Blue Mallee are an original act that showcase folk music ambience, primal rhythms, soaring vocals, storytelling and great banter. This all translates towards this duo, comprising of Evan and Niev, pushing the boundaries of contemporary indie folk music with traditional influences and dreamlike soundscapes.
Blue Mallee have fostered a wide music following and have played multiple music venues and festivals in NSW including Bundanoon Folk Festival, Yass Irish & Celtic Festival, Tilba Festival, Northern Beaches Music Festival, Sussex Inlet Scandinavian Viking Festival, Spirit of the Land Festival Lockhart and Uranquinty Folk Festival.
After receiving a music grant the debut EP ‘Shout That Whisper’ was released in 2022. The second EP ‘Question of Fear’ was released in 2024. Both releases received wide critical acclaim both in Australia and internationally.
