MARCH BLACKHEATH FOLK

Blackheath Folk at the Gardners Inn on Wednesday 6th March will feature three-time Australian bush poetry champion, Gregory North.   Gregory is a man of many hats, many voices, a man of many characters – he is a great entertainer.

Known for his unique rendition of The Man From Snowy River and for immersing himself in his characters, performing makes Greg come alive.  Whether it’s the Fully Sick dude, the coal seam gas miner Frackin’ Philip Fricker, the granny, the tradesman, the touch foot kid or the bloke enamoured by the Kootin-gal, his alter-egos are sure to entertain.   From humorous to serious, poignant to ridiculous, Gregory North takes the audience memorable journey of dinkum Australian entertainment.

Folk music and poetry at the Gardners Inn on Wednesday 6th March will start at 7.30 pm.  Meals from the bistro are available from 5.30 pm.   Floor performers will be very welcome on the night.
